Holiday season has already arrived! 2017 has been a good year altogether. I spent more time with friends and family, had lots of fun travelling. 2018 is around the corner! I’m setting my spirits high for what new year has in store for me. Celebrating new year eve is a must-must for me. But my plans are not yet finalized. How about you? Whether you celebrate New Year’s eve or you rather bury yourself in blankets until the fireworks stop, there’s room for a great look – no matter what your plans are.

So I have put together a handful of my favorite New Year’s Eve inspired outfits for you.

1. Clubbing

Sequins and champagne are meant to be together. Up the wow factor with the sequins Bodycon dress. I got myself one before my Wedding Anniversary this year from Dillards for $80 and I paired it with Madden Girl golden caged pumps. Although I didn’t wear it for clubbing, I wore it for a dinner with family. I wanted my lips to be bold red so I used Lancome’s ‘Rouge In love’ lip stain shade – 170 and smokey eye makeup. I curled my hair for that bouncy look. My face is really small so I curl my hair to add a volume to my face for special evenings.

I got myself another party dress as I went to buy a pair of jeans from Express. They never go out of fashion so I thought I can wear it in the near future. And when I am not in a mood to buy something, I end up buying anything 😉 I have paired this dress with metallic Pumps and a clutch which adds to the glam. I am wearing Loreal colorriche 175 shade on my Lips. The dress is already shimmery so I have kept my makeup minimal and haven’t used much accessories which highlights my dress.

2. House Party

House parties are a great way to celebrate the occasions with friends or family. Picking the right outfit for a house party is important. Wear something which is comfortable and stylish. Adding accessories to your casual jeans and a blouse can make it fit for the occasion but don’t overdo it.

A smart blouse with casual jeans or trousers will also ensure more of a party-appropriate look. You can choose various types of tops like peplum, off shoulder , ruffle etc. I am wearing one shoulder blouse from Forever 21 with trousers in this look. You can add some accessories to it. I wanted it to be casual so haven’t added any accessory to it.

I am a big fan of leopard prints. I got this leopard blouse from Express and fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It can also be worn for a house party with a nice pair of trousers or leather pants. I paired this blouse with leather pants which I got from Charlotte Russe for just $15. You can accessorize it with a neck piece or an embellished coat. For shoes I wore my Michael Kors leopard print pumps which matches with my blouse. But you can also wear nude or any contrasting color pumps with it. And for the lip stain, I have applied Estee Lauder Pure color Envy 220.

3. Going out for a dinner

Glam up a bit for a dinner out on New Year’s Eve. Either use bold colors outfits or add a shimmery blouse with trousers or pencil skirt. As it is very cold on New year’s Eve so I am not much comfortable in wearing skirt. It totally depends on your preferences you see :). You can team it with Pumps or boots. Since the top is sparkly enough there are no accessories required. Carry a long overcoat and you are ready!
